'Gages' Community Lunches 

Gages is open to all customers visiting us for lunch on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  
We will be continuing with our delivery or collection service on all 3 days. Orders must be made by 11am and payment is by credit or debit card.

'Gages' is the name for the café in recognition of the 165th anniversary of Viscount Gage conveying the land for a new national school to be built here in the village. The building we now use for our lunches.  

The Parish Council currently provides lunches in the Main Hall of the Community Centre on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtime serving between 12.30 and 1.45pm but we are open until 2pm.  

Gages provides fantastic home cooked meals cooked by our chefs Emma and Alison at a reasonable cost and continues to be a much-valued facility for the many residents who come along to meet friends and enjoy our 3 course menus. 

Our menus are displayed all around the village on notice boards and in the Parish News and reflect, what we hope, are good wholesome meals that perhaps someone wouldn’t cook for themselves on their own. 

Did you know that this lunch service also provides a home delivery service to Forest Row and Ashurst Wood residents? If you wish to place an order, please call 01342 822661 by 11:00 on the day with your request and we will deliver the meal between 12:15 and 13:30. There is a small delivery charge of 50p.
